Each shift contains a different task. The morning shift's main focus as a front office guest service agent will be directing all guests departing the hotel & frequent team work with the Housekeeping Department to maintain all rooms are ready by 3PM for arriving guests. The mid-shift is what I would like to call it as a support shift - where the employee assists in checking out, checking in, and touching bases with each department that is needed. This shift will also contain of paper based work. The evening shift's focus is assisting guests arriving for today, checking into the hotel. Typically manager on duty during the after hours of 7PM. Consists of daily paper work, touching bases with other departments, and managing tomorrow's duties. The overnight shift consists of the most paperwork duties that may focus on many different aspects.
