private:thejoeycreativeagency https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1320646 Mar 19th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open The Joey Creative Agency Meh... 1: for the first month i was doing exactly what i was hired to do: edit videos on premiere and do some simple photo editing on photoshop. 2: chill boss 3: everyone's working hard 4: if youre interested in working for a business startup/ marketing company, then this is probably a good spot to work in for experience. it'll show you the struggles of working as a small business and the challenges it faces on a daily basis. Note: this is a small business so dont expect a large hourly wage or health benefits. Also, make sure to be firm when you say you want to have a life cause the boss will keep you working from 9am-7/8pm if you dont say anything. 1: after the first month, i wasnt really given much production work to edit and even though i was a production assistant, i was not even given a chance to go shoot video or take pictures of the items of clients we needed. 2: since i wasnt given production work to work on, they began to give me more marketing based work, which although i understand it being small business and all, was not something i signed up for cause i hate business in general unless it involves music. 3: everyone's working hard but it seems like the boss wasn't. yea he had these general 1 on 1 meetings with other business people to talk about his "revolutionary" CRM system, but when it came to actually prepare for a presentation, he just left it to the other workers who already had a full workload trying to meet his demands and during presentation day, he just winged it. 4: if a presentation is being prepared for the following month, you dont wait until 1 week left to try and advertise the presentation over social media and email blasts. it should always be an ongoing effort. 5: boss was honestly disorganized, lacked time management skills, would give his workers more work to do last minute as opposed to letting us put it into our schedules for the next day to work on if it was that much of a priority. 6: he was previously heavily into music and i wish he shouldve stayed trying to work himself into the industry as opposed to something like a marketing company. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 2.0 3.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 1320646 Open please have more consideration for your workers. we work hard for you and sometimes go the extra mile for you, but theres a limit to where you make us your workers and your slaves. please work harder on your time management and be focused on not just your CRM system because you still have your regular clients to keep track of and keep happy. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Apr 28th, 2021 06:23PM Apr 28th, 2021 06:23PM The Joey Creative Agency

They do a lot of different projects and put a lot of responsibility on their employees very quickly. You learn quick! Yes they are a starup, yes they do not pay much, but what they don't pay you make up for in pure experience. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 5.0 2.0 5.0 5.0 3.0 4.0 1320646 Open Don't sweat it. 0.0 [] No Yes 0.0 Apr 28th, 2021 06:23PM Apr 28th, 2021 06:23PM The Joey Creative Agency

I learned so much about marketing and advertising, and how to adapt my creative skills in a real world environment. As a start up there are always challenges. But there was no con that outweighed the pros. Anyone who doesn't agree with that never truly understood the company. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 4.0 2.0 5.0 1320646 Open Keep doing what you're doing! 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Apr 28th, 2021 06:23PM Apr 28th, 2021 06:23PM The Joey Creative Agency

They use you and pay you as little as they possibly can.
