I had my good days and my bad days but for the most part this company wasn't a good fit for me. The salary wasn't good and there was no benefits. You never knew what time you was going to get off so that was difficult. 0.0 0.0 3.0 3.0 2.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 Feb 1st, 2021 11:50AM Mar 20th, 2021 01:13PM The Kansas City Star

Newspapers are in a terrible situation now. The people still there keep fighting the good fight and do great work with the resources that are left to them. 0.0 0.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 1.0 4.0 4.0 Feb 1st, 2021 11:50AM Mar 19th, 2021 08:11PM The Kansas City Star

private:thekansascitystar https://www.indeed.com/cmp/the-kansas-city-star/reviews Aug 18th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open The Kansas City Star Enterprise reporter Kansas City Urban Region, MO Really few better places to learn and practice journalism Great talent still, caring managers and never a boring day. But forget job security, not because of The Star but the overall business of newspapering, which is vanishing. The Star has made aggressive strides in its digital presence in recent years, and that's its future if you're into it. For 33 years the company treated me well, even though the work messed with my blood pressure. 0.0 0.0 4.0 3.0 5.0 3.0 4.0 4.0 Feb 1st, 2021 11:50AM Mar 20th, 2021 01:27PM The Kansas City Star
