Unprofessional

Unprofessional will be a reoccurring theme within this review. Terrible place to work. The owner is arrogant and unprofessional. The "interview" room was filthy, cluttered and gross. The culture in the office is bad. The owner has his creepy eyes on everyone at all times. Small area with too many people working in it. Computers and phones are positioned on kitchen counters...no desks. Fake brick banners hang to separate the employees. Phone and computer wires hanging visible from the dirty, water stained ceiling. Chairs are covered in stains and some falling apart with torn seating surfaces. Unprofessional environment...
There was a flossing pick on the interview table in plain sight...gross.
During all three of my visits with the owner and management they claimed they would call me either by the end of the week, day, or next day...NEVER did they do what they said...that shows a lack of integrity. Very unprofessional. Two weeks after a my initial interview the production manager TEXTED me for a followup interview for that same day...he sent me a TEXT message...so unprofessional.
During my training period, they never completely explained the graphic design process for each job...very unfair process...so unprofessional.
I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Extremely unprofessional
|
Terrible working environment, owner literally hovers over your shoulder. Tells you how to do your job and ignores your degree in related field of position. Narcissist who thinks hes superior to everyone else. Offers you low pay, no work station, no training guideline, literally throws you into the fire. Building has wires hanging from the ceiling, unprofessional, barely working PC's. computers.

High turn over of employees, but not a bad job.

I think that the work was easy, nothing too difficult. Training is definitely on the job. You are expected to know your role and learn as you go. Management was helpful and knowledgeable. There was constant turn over of employees, and if you are looking for a job with a benefit package this job is not for you. The work can become monotonous, however, the work and employees are easygoing for most part.
Starting the day with cleaning work area, then build any shipping crates. After that, per order, look over signs for quality control and report any defect. Do any finishing if needed and take a picture of sign for documentation. Prep packing materials and then pack order.

Awful place to work, no trust within the company

Bad pay, no trust, awful management. The owners wife was on payroll but never worked. They have to put their own money into the company every week to stay open.

Do not work here

Avoid working here at all costs. The management couldn't care less about employees. New people were hired and fired on a daily basis.
The company itself is run extremely sketchily and you always need to check your paycheck and make sure they didn't try to rip you off. Management will spy on you, cuss you out and make you a scapegoat for their own mistakes.
There is absolutely no paid time off until you've worked there a year (and only 1 person not in management has been there that long). They put policies in place prohibiting employees from even talking to each other.
Save yourself the stress and regret now and do not apply for any job here.

Small company with a lot of potential with poor pay and no job securit
|
The rules and procedures suffer extreme changes on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. Compared to the amount of work and stress the employees deal with, the pay horrible. There is very little job security (I've seen some employees be fired within a day of being hired on numerous occassions) and I recently witnessed a large group of people being laid off/fired all at the same time in front of all the other employees. The management has unrealistic expectations and often time make the decision to take very unnecessary risks in order to save a buck. But there are times when the entire company comes together, for big projects, birthdays and company outings that really makes you appreciate working for such a small company.

Great people to work with. Very limited for advancement.

There are wonderful people that work here and that makes it fun. Everyone works very hard which makes it easier as a manager; however, it is very easy to cap out your advancement. There is not a lot of room for growth and you can find yourself working at the same wage with no advancement opportunity in site. There is a mediocre company health plan available, but other than that there are no other vital benefits from this company.
