I love working here

* The staff are all super nice. I'm actually friends with all the staff and will hang out with them outside of work.
* It's a learning environment. I have felt myself grow so much since being here, and I have seen the same for others.
* It's fun! Working here is actually tons of fun and things are kept upbeat.
* There's a great opportunity to meet and network with a lot of people. For one, there are all the students who land tech jobs. Then there are tech talks at the campus every Friday where we get to meet professionals from the industry.
* I love getting to help people. It's so rewarding to help others land a job in a new career that changes their life. I've been able to positively influence so many peoples lives here and it is very gratifying.
* There's a great balance of structure and creativity. I have guidance on what to do on my job from policy, but I don't feel like a robot. I have the freedom to do all kind of things from my position that help the company.
* I like that the Portland office is downtown and close to so many other things.

If you don't want to be in a job that requires initiative, and you just want a job where you can walk through mindless actions without thinking, then The Tech Academy wouldn't be the place for you. While the employees are very nice and they get along great, they're also very smart and make sure that their duties are taken care of.
