There's a bathroom, there's bags of chips, the office is in manhattan, influencer marketing is a pretty big deal right now. There are a couple all stars on the sales team that you can learn a lot from.
|
"Management" has no clue. Julius is building out features to its platform that it's competitors have had for years. The office is extremely quiet and everyone is miserable there. Just an absolute terrible working environment. High turnover rate.
In conclusion: management is terrible, product is two years behind its competitors, not a fun place to work. Don't work here.

Thuzio and Julius are both evolving rapidly and management gives you the ability to give your input constantly. The executives are all very experienced for a startup of their size and are focused on building a culture that promotes personal growth and ideation. The perks are quite enjoyable and include the TEC events, company happy hours, ice cream parties and more.
Having access to people (Mark and Jared) who have been integral in building large companies is also very nice if you're looking to work at a startup where the executives have been successful before.

Definitely still wearing a lot of hats and have a lot of responsibility, but that's normal for this stage company. If you're excited to learn about a lot of different things and actually get to see the fruits of your labor make an impact one way or the other then this is a good fit for you.

I could go on all day but bottom line is....They hired me and then fired me within 4 months due to lack of money. Teased the position as a "full time salaried job" when really the intent was to take advantage of an employee and mislead them, hiring them to build up their platform then fire them as soon as they got what they needed. What a joke!
Full of post grads who are excited they easily locked in a job.....who will all soon find out why it was so easy!

Very unexperienced management, they have no clue how to mentor and motivate the team. The CEO doesn’t have influencer marketing background. People are hired and let go because the management doesn’t really know how to identify the right candidate during the interview. Low salaries and mediocre benefits.
Julius team is completely dysfunctional. Just avoid this place at all costs.

- Fun atmosphere for junior level staff
- Tiki Barber is great to work with. And as long as Mark Gerson is involved, the Executive Club (his baby) will remain (job stability).
- If I'm looking for my first or second job, I'd probably give Thuzio 4 stars. Good colleagues. Great resume builder. Easy to put in 12-18 months and move up the corporate ladder. The higher up the food chain you go, the worse it gets ...

- There are no checks and balances on the CEO, who has no influencer marketing background whatsoever. It's one thing if we're talking about Gary Vaynerchuk, who can be the face of an agency. Gary can do whatever he wants because at the end of the day, clients are buying into him and his vision. Augustine doesn't have that capability.
- Thuzio is a company that could have been sustainable as an agency in its original model had investors, boards, etc. not been an issue. The pressure they placed upon management led to several pivots, each more questionable than the last.
- Thuzio's (I mean Julius) SAAS solution is in a very competitive industry where most of the bigger agencies are spending significant $$$ to bring influencer marketing in-house. Again, if you are a junior level employee, this could be a major stepping stone. For those on the senior end, it could be your funeral.
- Unfortunately all of the stories of young employees being hung out to try on three-month trials, or through short-term stints are true. Many upper management types can go just as quickly if they cross the CEO in the wrong fashion.

Main Events product too expensive and new subscriptions have been steady on the decline . Even after pivoting and rebranding, SaaS product is not gaining any market share. Employees rightly feel undervalued and unappreciated and many are looking for their next move. Because management is inexperienced with little relevant SaaS industry experience the product is very unimaginative. To be honest, with massive employee turnover, there is a reason this almost 5 year old company has under 50 employees and why so many original members have willingly left. Teams within the company are disjointed; since many people feel their opinions are not valued, communication between teams is very low.
