Very fast moving start up pace, every week is exciting. Ratan is the best CEO I have ever worked for. Granted. I'm biased since I work here. But, honestly, we've got a great product with huge traction in a super hot space. Management is focused on the right things: sustainable growth, execution with speed, a winning product, the right positioning, and the right people. Most importantly there is a culture of constant improvement based on experimentation with no fear of failure, as long as you have a hypothesis to start with and learn from the mistake to improve the results going forward. I've never had as much fun in any job I've had before. This company is a rocket ship going up fast. Get in now before it's too late. There's a strong culture of collaboration, clear communication, and getting (the right) things done. We're at the epicenter of Kubernetes networking, which means lots of interesting engineering challenges. Many opportunities to learn new and emerging technologies and contribute to the next/current "big thing." Everyone in the company is working towards the same goals, so there's a lot of momentum and upside. Exec team is incredibly transparent about what's going well and what needs improvement - I feel like I'm getting an education on how to build a successful startup. Some sundry items such as beautiful office on Maiden Lane in SF, close to Bart, fun off-sites (truly), etc. Tigera has strong benefits compared to other startups I've looked at, but compared to bigger companies, the lack of 401K matching and relatively expensive health insurance for a family are disadvantages. Tigera is pushing the envelope in this area and has a ton of potential. The team is really talented, and the culture is great - everyone is working together to help make the company successful. Team has regular off-sites, has lunch together regularly, gets along well. Given the small size of the team, there's a chance for everyone to make a big impact.
