private:tithely Dec 13th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Customer Support Great People, Pure Chaos Great people to work with! Support leadership is flying by the seat of their pants. They are not proactive at all and use us as guinea pigs to try out new processes every few weeks. None of these changes or new processes are ever properly communicated with us or the customers so there is mass confusion and unnecessary friction created for the customer base. We do not get nearly enough advanced notice of these process changes. Just a "next week, we're trying something new." If it doesn't work out in a week or two (which is not even enough time to aggregate dependable data), they are on to the next new thing to try and placate customer complaints. They're putting new band-aids on open wounds and expecting things to fix themselves. I've truly never worked in an environment so unstable. They say they want to move into their "big boy" era and get away from the start-up culture, but that has yet to be seen with the way things are run. There's not enough staff to support our customer base and we're reprimanded like children when we can't keep up. The product itself is buggy and we're left to fend for ourselves when things go awry EVERY SINGLE WEEK. I find it extremely meaningful work with plenty of flexibility. Recently, Tithely seems to be emphasizing leadership development, improving organization and processes, taking care of employees, etc. and are working hard to improve employee happiness. The full fruits of this process may take awhile, but I very much appreciate the effort. It's 100% remote company. Coworkers are amazing, helpful and fun! They offer zero growth opportunities, no raise system and no wage increase system. Terrible benefits. The managers really care about their employees. Socially, the company has improved and really try to build community in a fully remote environment. Teamwork is encouraged and needed. Benefits are comparable to others in the industry. The leadership team cares about maintaining growth without sacrificing a work/life balance. Overall, the biggest cons come from a lack of communication. Teams are often in silos and there is little connection from the entry-level jobs, to the management team. The company's focus is always on new products instead of fixing the older struggling products which can cause friction with customers. Many projects/opportunities get stuck in the "waiting for approval from leadership" land and then get forgotten about. The benefits are comparable but not amazing. However, a lot of this has grown over the last year. There are growing pains in making the company more "legitimate" and moving from a start-up to a sustained company that plans to be around for a long time.
