Toddy Gear provides a fun work environment--great workspace, friendly coworkers, birthday celebrations and more. As a small company, there is plenty of opportunity to make your mark and get experience in a variety of areas if you embrace it.

Process and organization isn't very developed here and causes issues getting your job done efficiently. Compensation is lower than average without regular cost of living increases and vacation time leaves something to be desired.

There is a risk to too much process, but there is an extreme lack of any process to guide the work we do every day. Communicate more openly with all staff, not just upper management, about updates, changes and feedback.

Fun and flexible small company

Small company that values fun and flexibility. Wonderful coworkers makes coming to work a lot easier. You can grow into the company and move positions if one becomes available. The owner and VP are very helpful and want you to success, but don't micromanage your work.

If you want to only do what is within the strict parameters of a job description and nothing more then I would not recommend working at a small company, such as Toddy Gear. We all tend help in different areas as needed. You probably won't have a Google salary, but none of us are starving.

I’ve worked at Toddy Gear for just about 2 years, and my experience cannot be better than it currently is. I started out in Customer Service, and am currently transitioning into Sales, which means there is so much room for advancement here. It’s easy to come to work everyday when you work with wonderful people, and your customers are always pleasant!

Management doesn't really care about people. Pay is low wage, very low. Plant Manager's mindset- cut, cut cut cost. Not a good place to work. Look elsewhere because there isn't room for advancement.

Friendly team and fun atmosphere when things are going well/smoothly; Supplied Kitchen and some provided food and drinks; close to public transport.

Poor compensation even when growth was substantial; having to cope with an Owner/Manager who is clam one moment and flying off the handle the next; having to work to the whim of the owner even if there was a plan already in place; working under a manager who is one moment a micro-manager, then disappears for days only to come back and change his decision on how to proceed; working under someone who holds accountable only those who it is convenient to hold accountable.
