I love working at TopGolf really flexible hours, is great for students that need a job to work around their schedule. They have a really good workplace culture and try to make work as fun as possible and give recognition to people that work hard!

The coworkers around there are really nice the mangers will understand your problems and mostly have something to do all the time and most of the problems that occurred real simple fix

Fun atmosphere but it’s not always a fun place to work. Money is good in summer. Management is terrible. They hire lots of inexperienced young people, I think because they’re easy to control.

Knowing there are people who pretend to support you but as soon as you turn your back they are the first ones to back stab you to try to get ahead
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There culture is definitely a big part of Topgolf and they try hard to keep it solid. The environment is a steady to high volume, fast paced venue
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As the executive sous chef I was responsible for daily operations such as time and temp control, inventory, ordering, scheduling, prep calls and validation, basically keep the kitchen running safe and efficiently and keeping labor under control and food cost low.

Would never work here again

Probably one of the most awful jobs i've ever had. The working conditions are not the best.I was always sweating. I'm young I can take it but GOD. It's rough. A lot of work for bad pay. 12.50 an hour for food runner + tips, running up and downstairs three floors. Not fun and i never felt the AC. I never ever felt appreciated for the hard work I did.

Great management, fun work environment, though not for the weak
|
The Waco branch is a super great place to work. Management is great and very receptive to feedback and opportunities for growth. Tips are nice on the weeknights, just don't get stuck working Sundays. My only con is being over scheduled and not getting as many tables because there are too many servers on the floor. It's a nice pace if you're okay with easy money, but if you want to make the big bucks then night shift is the way to go. I did this while in school and would do it again!

Good money but terrible management
|
At topgolf it starts out great everyone is super nice but once you get into it the management sucks. They will schedule you out if availability and when you try to message them they won’t respond. You can’t find half of them on the floor when you need help. The money can be good sometimes but they play favorites. The favorites get all the time off, best events and get to break the rules while others can’t.

Worst place to work at! Mangers are rude. Hateful staff. Worst work environment ever! Mangers literally do not care about your work life balance was always leaving work at like 3Am and having to work morning shift next day
