None that I can think of Cheap over run frames that they buy at closeout. POS system is inefficient. You are only as good as your last sale. They DO NOT care about their employees. You are there to make them $ and THAT IS IT. They closed all Chicago locations on NEW YEARS DAY and fired their staff by phone. All California locations were closed in a day the next year. They lied and promised a future with the company and did not even compensate for the employees who lost their job that they relied on to survive. That is the type of company they are. For one, this is a family business, so your voice is heard and communication is always open. *You are your own boss, it's mostly a single coverage kind of operation unless your are in a high traffic area. No one is breathing down your neck, as long as you are self motivated and a go-getter. *We're in Urban Outfitters!!!! Never a dull moment, tons of cool and fun employees, lots of colorful customers. Everyday is different :) *Pretty new company, so there is room for growth * Learn how to run a business if you never have * Operation hours are great, Also short Sundays *If you want a 9-5, with no responsibilities. Then this is NOT for you *We're in Urban Outfitters, we're not stand alone eye wear shop, so people are here for apparel, vinyl, books etc * Sometimes you have to go the extra mile, which is expected here. If you are looking for a job to put in minimum effort. Friendly staff and everyone is treated like family. Management really listens to employees and takes suggestions into consideration. Never a dull moment unlike many other tedious optical shops. Very cheep lenses for consumers. Wonderful tech staff out of the home office who are willing to answer questions. They don't listen to their staff. The COO doesn't know anything about optical.
