There were many different jobs that I had done for TOSS and every one of them were the task and experience that I applied for, they challenged me and were fun always having a team for each job to completed the contract. None of the task were isolated to one employee to delegate alone. Unless the advancement became a full time position contracted with the business, were people could be picked up by the Company. But they were a small operation that preferred as needed 1099 support to keep their OH costs low. There was not enough work to support a full time staff. There is a little bit of hard labor behind it. You didn't work everyday of the week, only like 2-3 days for about 5 hours. They don't seem to find jobs and subsist on few clients and rely on worker desperation. I have learned many things while being at Fire quick, The one thing I learned most from this job is to take safety hazards and precautions seriously. All of my co-workers were excellent people friendly and hard working. There is no easy part to this job but i would have to say the hardest was caring the producing in the heat to the drying bunkers across the premises. The most Enjoyable part of my job is that I got a guaranteed 8 hours a day 5 days a week and was always off by 3 o' clock. In my case, I was lucky that I was put at one of the most stable and long-term positions they have: Security Guard at Cerro Coso Community College.
