Don’t work here!

The location I work at is terrible. My boss just assumes I can work 6-7 days a week and when I am lucky enough to get 1 day off, when I ask for another, I am given the run around and it seems like it’s an issue. This job will also schedule you 9+ hours without asking you if that’s okay first. I have never worked a job where management didn’t ask you if it was okay first. If you want a job that doesn’t allow you to have a life outside of it, this is the job. Management is all over the place and will guilt you into either working 7 days and double shifts, then this is the job for you. Management will also tell you one thing and then deny what they’ve said.

One of my favorite jobs

If you do well, you have an opportunity to be promoted within. The scheduling helped while I was in college, and I was able to grow as an employee. The hardest part was dealing with accidents, but the most enjoyable was the fast-paced excitement that comes with the job. Tips could be great if you have a good team, and shifts can be fun when you get along with your coworkers.

Being a valet at TownePark is a good experience for a summer job especially for a college students coming home for the summer. A job that if you care enough you can make a good amount of money from gaining tips.

Don’t waste your time. Petty cash nothing more nothing less.

Worked for this company for a couple years at their “premier” site at the Downtown Kansas City Marriott. Horribly ran company with poor management from top to bottom. Company has horrible turnover rate and will hire just about anybody bc of it. Don’t expect to be able pay all your bills with just this job. Company has tip pooling policy which means everyone will be pocketing cash while they walk to retrieve cars. Management also had a horrible habit of over staffing for weekend events “that should be good money.” After 2 years of giving up my weekends to work over staffed weekend events to only go home with 70$ bucks cash I realized it wasn’t worth the time anymore as the company refuses to actually pay people a decent hourly rate even though over staffing had such a huge effect on the tip split. If you are in your early 20s and need a job that is flexible with schedules it’s not a bad part time gig to make a little cash here and there. Would personally not recommend spending too much time with a company that doesn’t look out or take care of its employees. I personally regret wasting so much of my time and labor at this job.

It was fun to drive a Maserati and a Tesla

My location was at Englewood hospital so at times it was stressful. They are very lenient with breaks so that is one plus. I also got to drive some nice luxurious cars which made me enjoy parking more. Overall I had a good experience there and the pay was 13 an hour plus pool tips. The pool tips are fair but at times unfair when you are doing exceptional work and have to share your tips with someone that has a bad work ethic.
