Right. In February, there is a major problem with "inventory", and all of a sudden, we are in "major financial difficulty". Most of this is related to a seriously poor choice in inventory management software. You would think the high tech guys on the board would be a bit more selective when it comes to inventory/production/accounting software. The solution to this problem is to lay off two thirds of the staff. Big money save there. The end result is that no one capable of making a useful contribution in any field will work for Tracking Point. Goals and objectives change on a daily basis. Job security is nowhere to be found. Don't believe anything J.M. tells you. Hes just out to make more money, not more friends or colleagues. He networks with dollar bills, not humans. Lot of good talent hired, and let go. Long hours, constantly changing direction, no opportunity, no follow-through on promises and regardless of your value, work ethic, or inherent value, you'll still be fired one day...you will never see a single share of stock regardless of vesting status (read the contract). There are 3x more people that are former employees than are current employees, >80% of those were RIF'd, not attrition. Best co-workers ever due to their ability to attract talent with the promise of the company and the product. But no ability to execute and you will live in daily frustration and confusion. Best 2 days are your first day and your last day. Smartest, best co-workers ever. You will leave as great friends due to shared misery. Everything.
