Working this job has proven to be a long waste of time, zero room for advancement, low salary, long hours that end up wasting time as well, incompetent employees that lead to the whole department being behind while two to three of the hard-working co-workers end up swamped with the catch-up work of the others. It started out nice, maybe a little stressed due to the amount of work there was at the time but it made the paychecks bigger, now there's hardly any work and the department is likely on the verge of closing down considering it is the lowest amount of hours / work there's been in years according to previous workers / managers.

Worst customer service job I've ever had.
|
A typical day involves showing up between 7 and 8AM and then getting screamed at by unhappy customers until 5PM with a half hour break. It's easy to get very discouraged because all the customers are unhappy with the company and ownership and management has not done anything to make it better. You just get yelled at all day because none of the customers get good service and you aren't given any solutions to make it better for them.
Management looks down on Customer Service as being less intelligent and capable than the rest of the employees. They were really nice in the interview but then when I started working they were really mean and rude all the time. All the smart and nice people were fired or quit.
The most enjoyable part of the day is 5pm because you get to go home. I woke up everyday dreading going back. I've worked in many call centers and similar positions and this was the worst customer service job I've ever had.

Is job with simple work, not much to the job.

Working mostly consisted of a constant routine of unpacking incoming shipments sorting thought the product and then filling orders out orders with product. Besides the unpredictability of how many orders will be received the work place was boring and uninvent full.

Sad, very sad

Sadly it is a failing company that struggles to satisfy their customers with good service. The atmosphere continually changes and the vibe continues to decrease, sad because it consists of some really good people. Management is lacking care of their employees and customers. One morning you could be at your desk addressing the start of your workday, then by the end it is abruptly ended by being let go with lack of reason. They struggle to pay vendors, commissions and creditors. Management is run by bad decision makers who choose not to stop and think about the decisions they are making. You are made to feel uncomfortable in an environment of sporadic personalities that abruptly interrupt your work day. Major turnover...how they stay in business is beyond me.
