Nice relaxed place to work
|
I worked here during COVID. Everyone in the store was really nice and the work was easy. If you don't like extremely fast paced work enviorments, then this is a great place for you. You can take up to 1 hour lunches but unfortunately you cannot decide the time. I would work again here if I needed another part time job.

Overall a good place to work
|
The company tries to make it feel like I closed knit family, so if you like that, you’ll do well. If you’re very extroverted and okay with working around a ton of people in a small space, you will enjoy it. I liked pretty much everyone I worked with other than a particular manager who tried to bully me from my first day, for some reason. Other than that, it was a decent place to work and I met some good people.

Great work flexibility for students
|
I worked at three different Trader Joe's locations over 4 years and my experience has been great. Management can differ from store to store but as long as you get a good understanding of how the Captain runs their store and are willing to learn, you'll do great. This job literally put me through college and they were always so accommodating to my school schedule. I loved my time at TJ's and always recommend it to people. I still use a lot of the skills I learned as a crew member in my post-grad job now.

Some of the mates were good and some mates we’re awfully terrible and the ones were terrible never welcome you to work and the Captain is very unprofessional and he doesn’t care about you and your concerns and the Scheduler always schedule favorites in the mornings and it messes up your work schedule and life balance if you have been there a long time and also that place is really toxic so please be advised working here is say work somewhere else

Great place to work with really nice people. Management is okay, schedule flexible (they work with you). You are constantly moving around during your shift so it's nice to be able to switch tasks to avoid getting bored.

Crew is great, but customers are needy.
|
Honestly during stocking hours before open it is a fun place to work. As soon as the customers come in, it feels like you are picking up after tons of two year olds. They can't find anything in a store that has four aisles, they dump product everywhere instead of putting it back, and they don't even try to treat you like a human at times.
