Extremely awesome and underpaid mid level employees!
Absolutely horrible upper management. CEO has no leadership skills and gets his daily management guidance from books that he often quotes. Entry level pay in all skill sets with no pay raises. Do not recommend employment at Trailer Bridge. Shop employment opportunities at Tote or Crowley. Oh yeah, did I mention the extreme dishonesty of the "senior" management. Avoid!!

Good entry level- but proceed with caution.
Gives you a good insight into the logistics industry. Pay is pretty good especially since a degree is not required. Benefits are also pretty stellar for entry level. Office environment CAN be fun, but more about that in the cons
Turn over is out of this world.
You are micromanaged so badly that your job becomes unbearable. Every aspect of your day they want to be in control over. They give no trust into their employees and treat you as though you are a toddler.
The environment is pretty toxic. Lots of built up anger that is evident in the yelling matches throughout the day, stress levels through the roof, and constant breathing down your back for stuff that is out of your control. If you want to be yelled at and ridiculed for something you had no control over, this is a good fit.
They are so adamant about keeping some mid-level management that are toxic to their culture. Guys that are responsible for your success will routinely throw you under the bus to save themselves.
Commission is structured in a way that you can have more responsibility and spend more time over your accounts than someone just booking loads and your commission will be inferior at the end of the day. Rethink your commission structure, it’s out dated.

You have had more than 10 employees quit due to one team lead- maybe it’s time to rethink who you promote and keep.

Not afraid to lose my job anymore
There really aren’t any pros to working at trailer bridge. They have a pretty relaxed dress code which is nice and had good health insurance.
Where to begin? First let me start off by saying I was not fired and to be honest I probably would have stayed had they gave me a raise like they promise a lot of people after working there a year.
But there was always some excuse as to why I couldn’t get it. I also know people who have worked there for years and keep getting denied raises.
Second, do not read the good reviews from CURRENT employees. The ones who have left willingly or were fired for some BS reason are the ones who don’t have to fear losing their jobs anymore and will be honest.
Unless you are upper management or kiss upper managements butt you won’t go anywhere.
You’re scared to use PTO because you’re afraid of not having a job when you get back. Or they encourage you not to use it. (Not my experience this is others WHO CURRENTLY WORK THERE)
You CANNOT trust anyone in upper management. Period. No matter what they say about confidentiality, IT IS A LIE.
If you are not upper management, you are just a step in the CEO’s ladder to success and you are not cared about.
Anything they tell you about “family oriented” is a lie.

Great place work if you want to contribute

Very supportive group of people, upper management extremely transparent, company rewards employees for hard work.
Some systems are developing so it is necessary to tackle certain projects without a set structure.

Stop looking. You just found the absolute best place to work at.
Best atmosphere and culture. Best leadership group. Most opportunity for learning and growth. A company that not just cares about you as an employee but also as human being. Have never seen or heard of a conoany that provides more for their workforce which we actually refer to as family and you feel as if it is.
I actually sat here and gave it some thought. I want to be as hinest as possible. But the only Con I see here is that they were not making job opportunities more public when I started to look for work after college. And that was 24 years ago. I really cant find any cons with this company.

Absolutely The Best Place to Work At
The nicest people and fun atmosphere. Very laid back company that works hard and gets the job done.
Honestly, I cannot think of any cons. I've been sitting here for a while and thinking about cons and could not think of one.
