The executives are the worst professionals you'll encounter in your life. Both at work and personal, they are so vile. They don't give respect to anyone because they're at the top of the food chain. They're not the kind of people I'd want to surround myself with.

Some of the team was great.
|
There are plenty of cons. The CEO is not only a terrible manager, mentor, businessman, and salesperson. I believe he's also just a bad person to his core.
He has no sense of strategy: he is yet to launch a successful product.
He has no sense of pricing: numbers are made up on the spot.
He has no sense of morals: grants funded by the NIH are used wherever he sees fit; no regard for the rules or requirements of the grants.
He has no sense of product: none of his initiatives have paying customers. Nor does he understand iteration.
The CEO is a cancer to the NIH, to any potential "pilot partner" he speaks with, and to his employees.
The CEO only likes people who say yes. Even when his ideas are laughable and nonsensical. That fact is ultimately what led to my departure.
When you stop saying yes to the CEO, he finds someone else who will. By the end of my tenure, the CEO refused to have a 1 on 1 conversation with me or be in the same office. He forced other employees to be proxies for our conversations. When I spoke, he played on his phone or computer. He was caught multiple times taking naps in the WeWork phone booths. The levels of cowardice, disrespect, and unprofessionalism are truly laughable.
The comic aspect of the job fades quickly as you remember that, through the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research), they have received over $31 Million - and have produced nothing.
A few final points:
Transcendent Endeavors is objectively the worst name for a company ever.
The majority of the positive reviews on this page are fake.
You're not a venture studio.
