This is a great company to work however if you are applying to be a travel agent its best if you have had some experience. The co-workers are amazing and the culture is great. Just wish the training foundation that I had was better.

The product is really good, event though it needs improvement in some areas however the middle management is absolutely awful, unexperienced and with no personality.

Too much stress and not enough guidance. Travelers are rude and disrespectful. Team leads are very rude and talk to you anyway when you need help. My headset didn’t work and I submitted to manager. And the new manager when team trade and was fired for call avoidance. High turnover rate

At first it was a nice place to work, but it changed for the worse. People used to help eachother more. But with new stats introduced that were difficult to achieve, it was hard to get help or have time to help others.

Overall a great place to work but room for improvement
|
I am a Travel Agent and have been here a few years onsite in Dallas. The office is amazing and we get free meals and snacks. We have a new building which is beautiful on the 56th floor and you will not receive any better benefits than at TripActions. The medical insurance is the best I have had in over 15 years as a travel agent. I mean amazing!
TripActions is really growing and that can cause some issues with communication with upper management. We have been so busy and they were late in hiring much needed agents for all the new business. That being said more new people are starting and life in travel is getting back to normal.

Fun virtual workplace, if you’re teamed up with the right manager and team

TripActions is overwhelmingly micromanaged. If you’re looking to be a travel agent or travel consultant, this job is not for you. Half the time, you’re trying to solve issues caused by a program that works only 70 % of the time. Some people are quite happy working this type of setting. I just wasn’t fit all due to how much it’s micromanaged. Hated it.

Great product with poor leadership.

I've had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people at TripActions. TripActions has a wonderful product and hopefully this Covid crisis passes and they can resume business. With that said, the way almost 400 employees were let go was unprofessional and sad. They really need to evaluate their management in order to continue to improve.
