Great teams and awesome mid level management that sincerely cares about their peoples. It’s a rapid growing company so upper management isn’t very invested with lower level employees. plus It’s hard to be passionate about tracking time. Everyone is able to work together to reach a common goal, and everyone's opinions matter! You never feel like the odd man out here which is amazing! They want us to be able to have a great work/Life balance, they want you to "work really hard. play really hard." People are nice here. The company’s core values actually resonate. Software engineers, product owners, and product designers work together harmoniously, and it’s impressive to see how frequently individuals share ideas and lessons learned. The customer experience team is notable for their positive energy and successful track record of engaging with end users. I'm proud to call this my current place of work. The leadership is thoughtful about creating an inclusive culture that encourages healthy competition. My co-workers are smart, ambitious, diligent, non-assholes who know how to execute but also have fun. Also, it's worth mentioning that compared to other local tech companies I'd interviewed at, TSheets staff engineers are a fun bunch to talk to. They gave a non-BS interview IMO, where I felt like I was fairly being tested on actual competencies for the job I would be performing. Not always the case at other companies! It's growing fast -- waves of new employees each week -- so you should be ok with regular fluctuations in team structures. In terms of software development, to be completely honest there is a lot of unwieldy and brittle code that can be a pain to work with, and is not going away anytime soon. I honestly don't know where you would find another culture like TSheets! The company strives to show employees in & out of the company love every day! Everyone is kind & helpful and they do their best to create an environment that is extremely productive and still very fun.
