Hard work / Poor senior management

The Alchemist has hands down the best training any hospitality operator can give to their new staff. The training helps the job to become subconscious and sets you up for success.
However the management style is very aggressive in the way that your best is never good enough and you are not really thought of as a person but just a number and a cost.
The company is meant to be about the people but it's mostly a front. Progression is promised but it takes years and it about who you know in the business to be able to actually get the promotion.
I enjoyed the team around me and the training given but I cannot take anything else from my experience working there. The management structure really needs looking at to keep the great culture they once had. But unfortunately this has now changed and the senior managers have lost touch with reality.

Excellent place to work.

The culture within this job was amazing, the staff are extremely helpful and work as a team. The team of staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the job very enjoyable. The hardest part was the training at the beginning, however once it's completed, the job is extremely rewarding.

Fun place to work at. Management was nice and supportive. Everyone that worked there was passionate about their job. Could get a bit busy at times. Shifts can vary but more often its a really late finish.

Don’t work for these scammers. They owe money to loads of people. CEO has a criminal record for fraud.
They don’t pay correct wages and rarely on time.
Deductions were made for my Pension but they didn’t pay my contributions into my Pension Pot.
They didn’t pay me for a whole month.
