What is the best part of working at the company?
I had 25 years experience with the platform they used so the training went fast. I like the uSuites automation. It made the daily work much easier. I enjoyed my staff.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I felt the manager I worked under didn’t train me the best on some task. The manager left out alot of important stuff. I also felt you couldn’t make a mistake. Even it wasn’t material to the funds
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment was very professional. It was a team atmosphere. We all know that the goal is to satisfy the clients.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I start out editing XCeptor cash and asset recs for my team. Then I review them in Control Center. Control Center has all the daily work saved in it by the accountant. We use uSuites applications for prelims and finals so that we can realease and accurate NAV to the public.

Great co-workers, interesting work, but horrible compensation and zero work life balance.

Private Equity accounting involves very interesting work. You will routinely work over 50 hrs a week, with zero acknowledgement from management for the hard work that you put in. The pay is also abysmal. I participated in several town hall style meetings where the issue of pay was discussed, and each time the CEO and/or the CFO would claim they were paying in line with other firms. I can confidently say this is false, they may pay fairly for a 40 hr workweek, but when you are consistently working 50+ hrs per week the pay is way below average.
