Outside of a non-competitive pay and benefits, I found myself in a very toxic team environment. First of all, open and repeatedly emphasized lack of acceptance was a major red flag. The team displayed too much unreasonable hierarchy: immediate team members above ignore your existence, leaving everything in the hands of inexperienced and inconsistent managers whose only concerns are establishing their dominance and playing humiliating games to show you your place. This total lack of relationship and condescending treatment from people above your manager leaves you with no point of contact to express any concerns to. Everything listed creates a sense of not being safe, secure and supported, while showcasing favoritism and side taking.
The overall morale of the account was very low: no one seemed to like their job, their client and each other.

I strongly suggest paying closer attention to the morale across teams and accounts, as well as ensuring a stronger bond, or at least accessibility, between members of the same team. Personally, at some point I felt like I was forced to leave. To this day I wonder why I was hired at first place if I was treated like not-a-fit from day 1.

Politics, almost ran like a family office

The hours are not horrible, not like finance hours but obviously not like finance pay either.

Favoritism on the team, poor benefits-really low pay. I made a mistake making a career move to come to this place, and it was really are mediocre and low paying as a colleague had warned me. Even interviewing at its media agency competitors they paid so much better. I decided to leave the industry after that for good.
