The work that the warehouse workers do is VERY under appreciated. Management is new and doesn’t really know what it takes to be in warehousing and how to treat their employees. If you don’t have a degree or some kind of technical certification you won’t be moving out of your current position no matter how much experience you have. You ARE STUCK! Warehouse workers do NOT get compensated Enough or acknowledged for the work they do.

ULA is a great company that does a lot of interesting work

ULA is a great environment to learn in and it is full of some of the best minds in the launch vehicle field. The culture of ULA promotes openness and speaking up if people have "pinches," which is a great thing in such a demanding industry. The work is interesting and fulfilling, and the benefits are fantastic.
My main complaints are a lack of good options for advancement within the company and opportunities for promotions are few and far between.

Some long time “entrenched” Employees were threatened by newcomers bringing in new ideas and methods
|
A couple of long time employees ganged up on me and went to management and got me laid off for making them look bad because they were lazy and WRONG.
I fought constantly with their broken record keeping and drawing management processes. No written procedures or CAD standards and same varied from manager to manager and project by project.

It's awesome being apart of great projects, but the people make it difficult.

Professionally, I loved the different projects and the work. Personally, I didn't love my co-workers, not to mention working in that environment reminds me of a geriatrics facility.

Pays well, flexible hours, cafes free breakfast and lunch on off Fridays for those who chose to come in
