This is the most understanding and exhilarating company to work for. Through my journey of health issues such as a kidney transplant, USG was there beside me like a family. I could not have asked for better people to be with me through those trying times. My time with USG is so cherished. My training and experiece was inspirational, and challenged me to become an exceptional professional in my career journey. Corporate management is so efficient and effective in all areas. I had the pleasure of getting to know management on a first name basis and working directly with them. Compassionate about their employees and take pride in USG. Yes, I love working for USG and hope to return soon.

Train and hire new employees. Collection calls to customers collecting outstanding balances.
STARS TEAM Duties: Would go into other facility that we would manage and convert everything over to our operating system. Auditing facility and inventory of equipment and products. Purchase items needed to operate at our company standards.

Good Company, needs management training

Location I work for has nice co-workers. The customers are great, except for the occasional rude one... much less than when I worked in retail. Your location gets bonuses for hitting certain goals which is really nice. However, I worked there around 2 years and only got a few... so they are not super easy to get.

Worst medical/dental I have ever seen. Inability to effectively manage due to lack of consistent training and ever changing process... every trainer has a different process... so you have to learn 10 process for each thing you have to learn which is a lot, just so you don't get into trouble. Terrible management style if your trying others to lead.

Consistent training. One process for the whole company on how to do things that is actually stuck to. Stop with the unnecessary procedures, it just makes the job twice as hard as it needs to be... you have a straight forward product... you don't need 20 steps for things that should only take 3. When someone says why are we doing it this way? because they genuinely care about saving the company time/money don't yell at them and say its because "that's the way we do it"... that's just poor area management. Listen to what employees have to say.

USG is an awesome company. We strive for excellence and are firm believers in honesty, integrity, and great service.

I absolutely love my job so much that sometimes I find myself wanting to take on too many tasks at once because I want us to always put our best foot forward. After reading the other 2 reviews I must say that the negative review seems like it's coming from someone that does not follow company procedure therefore they do not reap the benefits that come with doing your job to the best of your ability. I don't set the rules but I follow them and I have never had a negative experience. If/When I have a negative experience I would never give this company a bad review online without addressing my concerns with the corporate office first and give them a chance to address my grievances and correct any mistakes because that is what a person with great personal integrity would do.

In response to another review of USG posted on this site, I would wager that employee did not exceed expectations, and thus, did not warrant a raise or promotion. Personally, I do not expect to receive a raise if my performance did not exceed expectations. You get paid what you are worth - if you just do your job, you will simply get paid for your job. If you went above the expectations of your job - then you will be rewarded for your extra effort in terms of raises, bonuses, and advancement. It's that simple. Your salary is your participation trophy. Everyone gets one. The raises, promotions, and bonuses go to those who go above and beyond to earn them.

Inconsistent with policy and procedures, bonus structure and duties from one week to the next. Horrible communication between corporate office and field offices. Raises come few and far between...go years without raises.
