The environment is broken up by department and no group communicates with another group. The amount of wasted effort and money is mind boggling. Unless you are related to someone important you will never climb the ladder. The people at the top have no concept of what goes on in the real world. Departments will do things like post a position, interview people after it closes, and then hire no one and just re-post the position starting the whole process over again and passing over everyone who had taken the time to interview for the position. I have also been asked to apply for positions I was told I would be a good match for only to never hear anything back and get no reply from the HR representative who asked me to apply when I sent an e-mail inquiring. All in all I enjoyed the six years I worked at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I was respected by administrators, students, and fellow employees for the contribution I made to my department. The university and a great respect for the staff that I have found no where else. Excellent benefits, holidays, and educational opportunities. You will have to manage your time wisely to perform and complete all tasks at the center. All tasks should be completed by the end of the shift. Also, there should be a log of the times and the needs of each teacher and aid. Print, answer calls, and file child/parent documentation. Before the shift is over, I make sure that all tasks are completed as well as clean the office and teachers lounge. I will also assist the yeachers with their students for departure.
