You can pay to park, but EXPENSIVE! Quicker to walk to JPJ or stadium. Other than that, fullof micro managers who have zero compassion for employees. The good things are pto time earned quickly although staffing in certain departments prevents taking time off due to shortage. Pay is average, insurance is good. Insurance, PTO accrues quicker than most places. However, communication between health system leadership and middle management is poor, and critical information is often not shared until the last possible moment. This often causes more stress on team members and working conditions than sharing said information sooner would probably cause. Human Resources is terrible. They are uncooperative and negligent, and tend to be the worst type of petty workplace dictators I have found anywhere I've ever worked. If you have a question or complaint, you'll be lucky to even hear back from them, let alone reach any kind of resolution. They also promise the moon and then find as many excuses as necessary to not deliver on them. Unfortunately, HR is fully responsible for all hiring, promotions, raises, and most employee discipline, not the employee's supervisor or manager. Fear of knowing if you‘ll have a job from day to day. Communication is bad. HR hired some plainly awful managers and administrators. I saw my manager only a handful of times over a year since his office was miles away. Management doesn’t communicate well with the physicians and visa versa. I feel like I gave a tremendous part of myself to the institution and got very little in return. Cost of living to high compared to salary. HR is absolutely useless.
