They make it impossible to hit goals but won’t help you get there. You quit your job, train at Upserve with what they call “boot camp” and they will pick and choose who to keep once that 2 weeks is up, so you just quit your other job with nothing to fall back on. I have very attentive management and support agents that offer assistance whenever requested in a fast and friendly manner. We all feel like friends when in the office together, which is the most enjoyable part of the job. You answer calls and help customers with their problems. Not much socializing to be done, although there is a ping pong table that is sometimes used. Definite startup vibe, but people take advantage of these things and get them taken away. Promotions definitely felt persuaded by favoritism, so make sure you are tight with your manager and that the people already in the position you want look upon you favorably. Hardest part of the job is when a credit processor goes down and you have to explain to 1000 customers what's wrong. Most enjoyable part of the job was the view, decent pay and benefits, and since the interview is filtered by personality, a lot of good people with similar outlooks. I hit 300% of my goal and was punished for taking time off. If you aren't giving unlimited time off, don't approve it or put it in your manual. It's awful its ran by Millenials who assume they know how to sell. They want you to conform to their way of selling and Sales Script. -They are too expensive for Restuarant owners and the product glitches quite often, similar to their competitors.
