You get to wear a lot of hats like marketing, design, and much more. I worked at uSTADIUM for a long time. Frank (CEO) and Nick (COO) run the company. They’re pretty cool guys but when it comes to running a company, I’m not entirely sure they’re suited to do so. The company ran in circles when I was there and we saw very little growth, if any. In my opinion, there were clear paths we could’ve taken that could’ve led to growth that Nick and Frank refused to take. The company is still struggling to grow and I believe the main concern is that Nick and Frank refuse to acknowledge their flaws, refuse to hire outside help, and have no real plan for the short/long term future. On a personal note, when I tried to leave the company (keep in mind I worked for free my entire tenure, as does everyone), they were not happy about it. They tried to convince me to stay but when it came down to me leaving, they were very unprofessional about it. They insulted me and other former employees. Let your employees work with you, not for you. Be better leaders. Lead by example, ask questions, and develop your team without limiting their exposure to growth. 5 brains is better than 1, so run ideas by your team instead of developing by yourself. I started working for them on a feature when we publish to Appstore there were some arrears they asked me to push code i asked for payment they said me trust us and all that they send me half amount then for half they promised to send in few days. People are always looking to help out and improve the content they provide. Disrespectful management. You will be made promises and given the run around regarding just about everything. These guys basically expect work to be done for free because they are not able to raise money. And you will be lied to about why you aren't being compensated.
