International brand and feel, getting to meet very different people as clients vary vastly

They invest NOTHING into their boutique employees - keeping costs down anywhere they possibly can.. No fridge to store lunch, no space to sit through breaks, having to eat lunch in tight stockroom etc.
As for the Copenhagen-based boutique in particular (late 2019 - ), very incompetent manager who doesn't know how to lead a team, avoids handling conflicts and instead fuels a culture of dispute between employees and people not daring to voice their opinions or worries, but instead backstabbing each other - even turning the blind eye on certain employees stealing and cheating sales from others, clearly favouring said employee(s) by chit chatting with them in the back office during work hours while the rest are on the shop floor (this happened often) + allowing these to not follow uniform guidelines (i.e. having their long hair loose and down) while the rest are expected to tie up theirs at all times.. Extremely unhealthy and discouraging workplace environment! The worst I've experienced (or known of) through 12 years in retail.. I know I was far from the only one with this opinion, but in this place - you learn to keep your mouth shut.. although there is much more to the story.
- Leaving it was the best thing that happened to me at Valentino Copenhagen.

You should implement employee satisfaction surveys - that doesn't include manager. Give your employees a chance to have a voice where they don't need to fear being fired for speaking up.. Without it, you are ultimately loosing your best people as one can only deal with the toxic for so long before it gets extremely demotivating.
