The Operations Team Lead is responsible for building and developing a high-performing team who delivers a world-class experience to our members every visit to their fitness center. We define a world-class experience as a friendly greeting, ensuring all equipment in the fitness center is fixed as quickly as possible, and the fitness center is sparkling clean. This is accomplished through flawless execution of our operations playbook while managing operating costs.
Deliverables
The Deliverables for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Build and develop a high performing team. This deliverable involves establishing a culture within the team that adheres to our core values and drives accountability. The OTL is responsible for attracting, hiring, coaching and maximizing the engagement of the operations team for their fitness center.
Deliver a world-class member experience. This deliverable involves:
Feeling welcome. The OTL ensures that our members receive a friendly greeting by name by Front Desk Team Members upon entering their fitness center and a cordial goodbye when leaving. They also ensure that everyone on the Operations team engages members in a positive manner whenever the opportunity arises.
Fixed equipment. The OTL ensures that all equipment issues are identified, a ticket is submitted for repair, and fixed as quickly as possible.
Sparkling clean. The OTL ensures that every area of the interior and exterior of their fitness center is as clean as possible at all times.
Flawless playbook execution. The OTL ensures that all Operations playbooks are executed by the Operations team to precision in their fitness center. This includes timely completion of walkthroughs and checklists.
Managing operating costs. The OTL manages operating costs by controlling labor and equipment expense without sacrificing the needs of the member.
