Vidyo used to be a great company with amazing people until it was acquired.

The only current positive to working at Vidyo in its current state was the people. The talent within the domain and technology was always at high level. Everyone helped each other succeed in their respective area. There were people who left that were easily doing the workload of 4 employees.

Compensation was terrible after the acquisition.
Working space got downsized significantly.
Company events no longer took place.
Team Building activities like basketball at a gym were no longer sponsored.
Senior managers appeared to show no real interest or strategy for keeping top level talent from leaving.

Management has no interest in staff. Several months of no communication whatsoever about the direction of the company. TownHalls cancelled because management ‘did not want to take any questions’. Cannot think of a single satisfied customer globally. Business model changed entirely without consulting existing customers (they don’t like it). Everyone I work with looking to move-on.
