Poor Management and Unsafe Working Conditions
|
Fake! Pays employees off with gift cards, free lunches, etc in order to keep them quiet about what really goes on behind closed doors. Owner treats employees with disrespect and only cares about himself and his money. He puts on a fake face for the outside world while pushing his employees to breaking point so that he can make his millions. Employees are forced to work in unsafe conditions and are treated like garbage.

Better than any other place I've worked
|
If you're lazy, or just looking for a 9-5 kind of job where you sit on your phone then yeah not for you. Personally I've had the most fun and sense of engagement out of any job while working at Vigon. If you really put in work and effort then they'll reward you. On top of that the health benefits are fantastic and the owner really cares about his employees. People on here have said some negative things but literally google interviews with the guy and you'll see he's really genuine.

I haven't worked here in a long time but when I did I enjoyed it. The people are nice and the owner really cares about the employees. There are company events for the employees and families.

Nice place to work

Did well at the company and climbed up the ladder fast. Unfortunately, working third shift became to difficult with family/work life balance. Benefits were great.

Terrible culture, micromanager owner, no flexibility

Worst place I've ever worked. This is a very small, family business that does not understand how to manage a company/employees. The culture is awful, even though they've paid to be given "Best company to work for" awards. The owner is a micromanager with every single position and watches/nitpicks everything employees do, there is zero autonomy. Even salaried employees get reprimanded if they are one minute late. There is zero flexibility and no work-life balance. The employees that have been there long term are unfriendly, unwelcoming and territorial. Very shady place...stay far away!!

My overral feelings are....

I have enjoyed learning and working here; it is a supportive place where everyone does get support and training to do their best at their current job; there is opportunity to move, up and take on more responsibility if you want.- getting that information consistently can be difficult at times, but everyone is so busy, it really is just a matter of being persistent.
