Corporate is a clique, there are a few individuals who cultivate a horrible work environment through fear and disrespect, and they are protected by fellow higher ups. In a store you work close with these individuals, and they fight the correct decisions that you know are best for YOUR business, simply because it does not align with their ideas first. The moment one specific individual took over, you were immediately reminded that you were replaceable and not valuable to "their" team. It was disheartening to watch career managers leave or be let go in a mass event, to be simply replaced by an inner circle. On top of which, the company lacks logistical insight on what is smarter not harder.

If a large amount of people all share the same experience, listen to them instead of choosing to lose valuable talent to protect one individual. The people working in the field are the ones who have valuable insight on proper/easier functions for day to day practices. Preaching the family atmosphere but not following through with it burns bridges. I went in loving this brand and what it stands for, I no longer wear the clothing and would not recommend a career with this company anymore.
