Facet #1: Autonomy. The freedom to manage my own time and have flexibility is extremely important. The ability to try new ways of doing everything related to the sales cycle is also refreshing and something usually only found at early startups (Note: VPBX is NOT an early startup even though it's just as nimble as one). Facet #2: Helpful and Amicable Colleagues. From marketing, services, support, to management, they are always more than happy to lend a helping hand when and wherever possible. Communication is also among the BEST at any company I've worked for. Everyone is a total Slacker (advanced user of Slack ;) which makes it super simple to ask for help, request pretty much anything... all addressed immediately or within a matter of mere minutes usually. Facet #3: Robust Product. VPBX's newer platform, Dash, offers a user-friendly UI along with a plethora of enterprise features/function at a very competitive price point which is super helpful in *winning* a deal. VPBX has won many industry awards for innovation and service which certainly provides employees with a sense of workplace pride. I do wish the company offered at least an annual outing for company employees to gather together to celebrate company accomplishments and milestones over the past year. I've heard it's something they've done in the past but haven't done in recent years? There are way too many VPs who are unqualified. The VPs are getting paid too high while the non-VPs are getting pennies. They hire relatives, wives, best friends, neighbors whether they are qualified or not. There are different rules for different people. Some people can work from home and some cannot.
