Invest in the employees MORE. The moral is so undeniably LOW, it's palpable. Staff aren't recognized for achievements, or for going above and beyond normal duties, so naturally, they don't do any more than what's required to earn their wages. Coupled with poor management strategies, the environment is tense and unforgiving. The company policies are archaic and need an overhaul to accommodate the changing world and family dynamics. The employee retention rate is embarrassing; it's a revolving door of people coming and going. There isn't room for growth, you maintain the position you were hired for. The occasional annual increase is a genuine slap to the face ($0.25/per hour increase, if you're lucky). Bottom line: it's only beneficial to the company for you to be there. You may gain a stepping stone to head in another direction, but not without angst, grief, and frustration first. The company lacks transparency and accountability.

None. Management is awful. They only keep employed the kiss butts and the ones who want to talk about everyone behind their back. This to them makes them a "valued employee" because management thrives on the high school drama and talking behind peoples backs.

I felt awful for the clients due to the fact that they are getting taken for EVERYTHING and will not receive ANYTHING but an empty bank account in return. As a collection employee your paycheck mirrors getting the clients to pay their monthly payment and that is completely unfair. The owner/CEO's are a bunch of con artists. The money they take from people and give nothing in return in ridiculous and I don't see how the owner/CEO sleeps at night. Taking money from people for his own profit to live luxurious and giving no results in return is awful. They are not now and do not help anyone with their tax problems, they only make it worse by taking money that clients should just pay directly to the IRS. You will lose everything if you sign up with this company. I guarantee it.

They need new management that doesn't play favorites, doesn't talk about employees with other employees, doesn't allow for ANYONE to talk about others or play favoritism. The whole vibe and moral in the office is low and tainted by fake employees acting as friends just to get gossip they can share with management which makes them "a valued employee".
