I love the place, quickly advancing in pay and rank along with the extra work attached but great place, good work family to be at. We always have new things to learn everyday or project, also teachs multiple trades. Machines, formsetter, concrete, piper setter, welding and mechanical operation.

The overall company supported the actions of management that were not inclusive not supportive of a healthy work/life balance. Compensation was fair and onboarding was fast, but the feeling of team and support from a higher up sort of stops the minute you are assigned to a project.

Overall the company was great my first project manager was great to work for, second was too, third one not so much. I was thrown under the bus and let go with no explanation yet he was terminated 2 weeks later.

Walsh Construction cares NOTHING about their employees. It's all about the almighty dollar. Management is an arrogant bunch of men that look down on employees below them. I've worked for a lot of companies over the span of 30+ years and WALSH CONSTRUCTION was the WORST company I had ever been associated with.

Was hired as an operator but only worked their for 2 months ! Seems I was only temporary in their scheme of things ! Seems a Walsh veteran worker was busy on another project so when his project finished so did my career finished at Walsh ! I was layed off so the regular veteran Walsh worker took my position !
