Over all, it taught me alot about people skills by dealing with customers complaints or requests. I had to be alert on poolside to ensure the safety of others and be quick thinking if an accident or fault has occurred.

Waterworld is potentially the worst leisure centre you could work for in the UK. From the stingy CEO who pays his employees the least amount of wages possible to gain more income for himself to the management who think they are a gift from God himself. I would take a bullet to the foot before even considering applying at this place, the hygiene quality in the facility is that low you might catch something just from walking barefoot.

An okay summer Job
|
This was just a summer job for teens. Most of the park is run by high school students that are watch over by college students. It was fun and you met interesting people but the management team wasn't too great. It was a bit unorganized causing issues with scheduling and not having someone who could make final decisions in the room when needed.

My role as a pool lifeguard was to ensure the safety of the public both in and out of the pool similar to that of the beach lifeguard. Being vigilant and patient was important as well as being able to communicate with the public were key requirements for this job.

This park used to be the best waterpark in the bay area. They dropped the ball. Everything is over prices. Staff is under trained and management does not listen to employee or guest concerns. This park needs improvement or to be shut down for code violations
