The product is nowhere close to being a game changer in the e-commerce space and the company has very minimal resources in place to grow their team members. “Management” are inexperienced and over their heads to try to coach and grow their staff. Oh and if you’re looking for good company culture, this place has zero whatsoever.

One of the most hostile work environments I ever worked in starting from the 1st day. There was a lot of talk from management about making things better but the action was never taken. Offshore development teams run the whole software process, which is fine unless you are an onshore developer. The focus is on getting products done as quickly as possible and cut as many corners as possible.

This company is going nowhere and it starts at the top - the CEO/founder and the COO simply don't know how to run and grow a company. They are metric-driven BUT have no sense of what drive REAL customer success or product growth. Every week, the main metrics that they care are leads, revenue, and retention numbers, and the team members there are nothing but costs to them. And if things don't go well, the CEO will cast the blame on his direct reports and their teams, letting them go after unrealistic goals and timelines. I have worked for many companies before and frankly, this is one of the most toxic culture to work for.
