Comp Off option is a scam - they decide when you take leave. If questioned they will say you ate their Pizza - Flexible working hours is flexible only for them. - Work from home option will be a headache as manager will keep calling repeatedly - They always screw your estimation for ur tasks reducing the timeline always keeps you under pressure reducing product quality with no time to test or improve. Workspace : - A corner in the city makes it difficult to travel - No Ventilation - Internet fails at times - No proper meeting rooms and interview rooms Others: - If you are a hard worker and you question regarding the low hike, they will trash talk at you saying you are inefficient and less skilled - Very slow laptops for some employees - No proper testing devices to test the product. If a 1000Rs. worth testing device is missing employee will be blamed forever instead of taking measures to safeguard the devices. - Very bad planning and prioritization by the managers - Managers never gives buffer time for unit testing and bugfix - Your check-in and check-out time will be tracked to ensure we work more than 9 hours if we miss a day or two, they will send an email to entire office. - Happiness manager never resolved any issue/concern we raise - Company is declining day by day in all aspects - Clients are very bad at understanding the technical limitations and end user design aspects. - Whenever a new change comes, clients don't give enough time to analyze the impact and execute the changes. - If you work on weekends they will blame its your mistake to delay the job. We get chance to work on different type of projects and gain good learning experience. Full project ownership. snacks, food and cab reimbursement . personal medical policy. problem solving training helps in improving ourself. they are forcing some process, hope it helps in improving our knowledge and code standards. Career wise its a good conpany. but we should keep learning. test given to employees and changing designation is not good. we already took interview, got designation and ctc, and signed agreement. do this while interviewing, thats accepted. no business analyst to get the actual requirements from client and document it. Network fluctueting 1000 time a day. employee complaint to them they said use your personal mobile hotspot. how many hours or days or week use our own hotspot? mobile hotspot also bad experience. in this situation they maintain so many clients calls. They created the brillant CATS team with 3 members but some of these have no knowledge in the basic dev. Already time is committed to the client and as a formality estimate is taken from employees. If not completed then the management blames the team members by saying "you have provided the timeline". Management reduce the time by saying this feature is done is another project and can be copied from it. Sometimes estimate is provided by some other team member and the person who end up assigned to the project should follow that estimate. Those who inform whereabouts about others to the management and acts like they are working/managing others can expect designation raise compared to those who work hard. Certain QA employees doesnt even understand the product which they are assigned to and act as though the product is launched because of them. HR is dedicated to other things other than the job. Even the basics like payslips, appointment letter etc are not sent on time. HR always act busy and mostly spends time with QA. This dedication resulted in taking up QA role along with HR role so that even more time can be spent with QA. Founder tries motivating by telling changes are coming to the company but those changes will either not be implemented or die in short time. Either founder is turning a blind eye to what is happening or given wrong information. If there is fault with device provided by the company then the replacement will take days and till replacement work should not be affected. Appraisal will take months and those who are favored by the management will get high raise and others are humiliated. Many times internet gets disconnected and the employees are expected to use mobile hotspot to meet the tight deadlines. Wherever there is a conversation going on CTO jumps in and give unrelated views which makes the entire conversation waste of time. Many good and knowledged employees leave the company due to such politics behaviour by upper management. Those who quit the company have to constantly remind HR about the settlement. It takes many months for the settlement. Always some project is there to work. Worst case old projects gets revamped. We have freedom to learn and try new things, time will be less though. Everyone has their own process. PM gives a scope. In absence of PM, the client tells a modification to the team. Another day CTO visits and says some feedback and asks the team to intimate immediately to client. we can only inform it to PM. PM decides to follow or ignore it. Finally CEO checks and gives a whole different feedback. These feedbacks from 4 different people will not be organised and communicated to each other in the right order as there is no such process and each one have their difference of opinions. Finally all 4 people will come and ask the team where is what each of them informed and why is it not followed. Everything comes to the team and we are answerable. Then why do they have managers and the so called process? Human resource guy is meant for employees. But we get all letters from appointment letter to payslip to relieving order at final settlement only. and final settlement starts only after 6 months of relieving and continuous calls to remind them. HR here is not for us but only to beat jinchak and chat to QA. Very very lazy, careless and ignorant. They think we can build Airbnb and Uber in a week. Initial time estimation is for the designs we get. But final product in 2 to 3 months time should be like Airbnb with just 1 employee HR, PMs and QA just speak speak and speaks. They just know that. So all burden is on developers only. No right seniors to guide too. Appraisals will be done by Consultants so it will be less. But our HR will delay it by 4 to 5 months. when questioned they say how does this 5k increment affects your daily life and gives us advice back to spend less.
