The organization is not for everyone! Welcoming America is a quickly changing, entrepreneurial organization, and staff who are willing to be solution-oriented and self-starters do very well. There is rampant favoritism for those who do not challenge the ethical issues. It is very much a "do as I say, not as I do" work environment. Great intended mission to help communities. Management avoids conflict, stigmatizes those who give feedback, doesn't provide clear direction, and throws staff under the bus. There are very questionable ethics in decision making. There is no one to take concerns to, and if you try, you're labeled as troublemaker instead of someone with organization's best interest in mind.
