Wheel is recovering from a rougher 2023 year. Layoffs hurt morale - as the Glassdoor reflects but the teams are back to being well balanced again.
They were tough decisions - maybe cut too deep on staff but hindsight is 20/20. Company culture and the product being built is on the up and up!

As a Nurse Practitioner, I don’t recommend anyone to work here. I applied online, I had an interview and the job was offered to me. I submitted al the request documents for credentialing and they never call me back. I tried calling the recruiter several times and she didn’t answer me back. I just hope they did not steal my professional information. I did not start working with them. Please do not to this job. In my opinion is a scam.

Over promise, lack of direction, never delivering on the product. Simply grew way too fast. Worked nonstop especially outside of working hours, not because of the pay, but because so many of us believed in the vision.

Burnt out, frustrated workers at the mercy of inadequate leadership

The people (individual contributors) at Wheel are some of the smartest, hardest working, and most caring coworkers I've ever had. There are some truly wonderful humans, but be wary of trusting leadership with any personal information.
Wheel pays slightly above market for most positions (though the benefits are bare bones).

Leadership across the org has consistently shown a pattern of working employees into the ground with little to no care for their wellbeing. The turnover, attrition, consistent layoffs, and the glassdoor rating says it all - this is not a good place to be if you value balance and sanity at work.
The product itself, internal processes, and [lack of proper] tools do not support a successful or healthy work environment. Getting anything done at Wheel is like pulling teeth.
Growth has slowed to all but a stop as Wheel continues to miss sales targets. Instead of reworking the direction or execution plan of the business, leadership insists on following the same pattern of burning out its talent, cycling through entirely new teams yearly (sometimes even more frequently).

Try actually adhering to the values you tout so widely.
It is embarrassing to see misogyny run rampant at this company led by a female CEO. Michelle is not a good leader in any sense of the word, and that's reflected in the abysmal culture.
If you insist on showing your employees appreciation only via "shoutouts" in slack and meetings, don't be surprised when people exit at the first opportunity to somewhere they are treated like humans.

Executives are hilariously out of touch with the industry they're in, their product/market fit, their teams' morale. Wheel cant sell it's product... even when it "massages the truth" about it. Pretty sure R&D hasn't built anything worth selling in 1.5 years.
