Long hours, low pay and highly stressful

Stay clear of this family owned business. They are so disorganized and can't ever get on the same page, constantly shifting directives but then blaming everyone for the lack of fulfilling goals. Owner is a psychotic who is vulgar, mean, rude and hostile. He often screams, yells, demeans and throws temper tantrums. He knows what he wants but has no trust in the team he selects to get him there, so he micro manages. This once successful company has tanked. From multiple locations around the nation to just two in Oregon, it is clear his financial ineptitude is finally catching up with him. Steer clear of this black hole because it will suck the life out of you. This family are energy vampires and they attract others that are like them.

You will be asked to work your a** off days, nights, and weekends. Projects given to you to complete in unreasonable amounts of time, only to be changed multiple times, and then the final product or information is never reviewed. Upper management will build you up promising monetary compensation, only to turn around and set you up for failure later. The only upside is (was) meeting some great people and making a few friends.

Unprofessional , shouting matches between supervisor and owners including lots of swearing. Training is horrible . Communication is a joke

Casual work environment where your suggestions are welcome

This is a relatively young company that's growing fast. They just opened several new Will Leather Goods stores, and inventory can be a bit tricky. They are still getting their SOPs in place and it can be a little disorganized, but the thing I loved about working there was the management is always open to suggestions or new ways of doing things. The owner and his son tend to want things done their way (or the highway) but that's understandable given that it's a family business; if you can deal with that you will be ok. It is a small staff, so be careful what you say and to whom! I love the product- it's so creative and fresh out there in the marketplace. Very Oregon. Also, you can be casual at work. You don't have to worry about impressing anyone with designer clothes or a vast knowledge of the newest restaurants, chefs, or nightlife.

Horribly unorganized company with incompetent managment

This company is run by a family that is not qualified or educated enough to be in their positions. If you want to work for a company that is organized, professional, and has a good work/life balance don't come here.
They expect you to do 2 or 3 jobs at a minimum as people are frequently leaving to find something better.
The benefits are very minimal, including only 1 week of vacation your first year.
