The staff are both friendly and helpful. The kids are the best at respect of their elders. Sometimes the work load is overwhelming. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 434468 Open Even when you have a full staff maybe consider having a list of potential candidates for hire. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 9.0 May 12th, 2021 04:45PM May 12th, 2021 04:45PM Winnisquam Regional School District
private:winnisquamregionalschooldistrict-2 https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=434468 Jan 31st, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Winnisquam Regional School Substitute Teacher Tilton, NH Most schools are excellent! All but one of the schools is full if kind, flexible teachers and administrators. Most substitutes are treated with respect and gratitude. Students are sweet kids who want to learn. Plans for substitutes are well organized and provisions are always made for breaks/lunch time. A few teachers snub substitutes and are rude to them. One school discriminates and will not call me to work/cancels my scheduled jobs because I had complaints as a parent. Special education jobs are difficult as students have issues that are not shared but substitutes are still expected to manage them without proper information or knowledge of cues. 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 3.0 4.0 3.0 434468 Open Make sure office ladies are not playing favorutes (one school only) and also that substitutes receive necessary information concerning students with issues. 0.0 [] PART_TIME No Yes 6.0 May 12th, 2021 04:45PM May 12th, 2021 04:45PM Winnisquam Regional School District
private:winnisquamregionalschooldistrict-2 https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=434468 Jan 7th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Winnisquam Regional School Avoid at all costs Decent pay and benefits. The administration does not value the teachers, new or experienced. They offer no help to your performance, especially when there are instances of only days between observations. On top of this, while multiple departments struggle to buy books, the SAU office can buy a $10,000 desk and the administration can add a third supervisory role that largely seems unnecessary and a waste of funds. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 1.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 3.0 3.0 1.0 434468 Open Take better care of your teachers or leave. If you don't do one, they'll certainly do the other. 0.0 [] No No 0.0 May 12th, 2021 04:45PM May 12th, 2021 04:45PM Winnisquam Regional School District
private:winnisquamregionalschooldistrict-2 https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=434468 Sep 17th, 2013 12:00AM Open Open Winnisquam Regional School Secretary to the Assistant Principal Tilton, NH School would improve if the principal and superintendent were replaced Pro - Handing in my keys. At the high school level - Disorganized, no training provided for non teachers, horrible treatment by principal who encourages toxic office relations and toxic student-administrator relations, takes more pride in her display cabinet of golf balls than anything else, domineering, rude, inconsiderate, and most of all unprofessional. The principal literally cries when when things don't go her way, brings her outside politics into the school system, is blatantly racist. The principal also keeps large private notebook files on employees that are unionized but that she wants fired - those employees include anyone who is openly liberal or the slightest bit messy/disorganized in the classroom. Absolutely, positively the WORST place I have worked in my 15 years of work history. Went home everyday with anxiety attacks, physical illness brought on by her neurotic management. It is almost as though your worst high school clique queen became an adult and never left school. I sincerely do not recommend working here. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 1.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 3.0 3.0 1.0 434468 Open Replace the principal, check your school board members, keep partisan politics out of education. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 1.0 May 12th, 2021 04:45PM May 12th, 2021 04:45PM Winnisquam Regional School District
