Also, from HR recruitment, pre onboarding, onboarding, - everything is seamless. The laptop was up and running at speed with loads of automation. Great process and very timely delivery of technology!

Since Workato is a remote company, probably the only downside of working from home is the lack of regular social/human interaction. However, the company is investing in consistent, high-touch communications and is encouraging teams to connect more often.

So far, Workato takes all the positive aspects of my previous B2B SaaS experiences without any of their drawbacks—such as internal politics, uncertainty, shrinking territories, unachievable targets etc. For the moment, I haven't encountered any cons at Workato.

A supportive environment makes all the difference

My manager is amazing - they ensure I am included but they stay back and let me perform my role without babysitting me. This is because I have consistently shown that my work is accurate, timely, and I communicate well with others. I appreciate that I do not have the added stress of a micro-manager. As long as you do not take advantage of it, Workato allows you to work in a balanced and healthy way.

Workato is fast-paced. That isn't a negative but the day off each month isn't enough to disconnect and refresh. In the years that I have been here, it feels All Work and No Play. Numerous projects, meetings, deadlines - even if you love your work (which I do) make you feel like you can't catch your breath. Workato should instill a day each week for No Meetings. Maybe Fridays since so many geo's are already on their weekend anyway.
