Good environment, culture and people.

All in all, Record Connect is a really great place to work. I started at RC almost 4 years ago in a phone team position. I was able to work hard and move up into a Team Lead position in less than 2 years here. Hard work does not go unrecognized.
Recently, we have lowered production standards in order to help our teams focus on quality and not just quantity. A new director of operations has been put into place and we have been working hard on associate morale.

Not a real job. For robots with no money
|
For starters you only need a highschool diploma for this stupid job. They dont even do a background check let alone care about you and what you can do for the company. Like every job they care about the numbers, but this job they only care about themselves. They lied about paying for full health benefits and then off you no life insurance or anything you can really live off of. They do not train you properly You will be so confused and they are not always accessible when you need them the most. They want you to be a robot. You get two 15 min breaks and one 3o minuteand they tell you when you should be taking them as if you arent a human and cant get up from your desk. They want you to complete 8 request in a hour when it takes longer than 7 minutes to do most request. Anything outside of request isnt considered being productive. They also make you get on camera every meeting which is so annoying. They are extremely strict on time so you can barely use the bathroom or make a run to get lunch because they will be watching yur ever move. Its good for those who have no life and no real goals in life. Robot connect is what they should be called.
Team leads are extremely unorganized. Always cancelling meetings and unavailable for quick questions.

Does not pay a living wage, never give raises. They frown on people calling in. Always need a dr note otherwise it marked unexcused. Unrealistic quotas. They are very demeaning to colleagues, makes you feel bad.

I feel that there is always work to be done and never a dull moment. I think since working at Record connect I haev been able to work several over time hours. I do think that whenever I ask a question it isn't always answered quickly. That's the only concern I have.

If you have no family or life this is a great job

You aren't allowed to clock in before 8AM even when you have a 7AM meeting. You're also expected to be at your first customers doorstep at 8AM. So you are forced to go to the warehouse off the clock. You'll work your tail off skipping tiny steps from 8AM to Noon and still probably be late to a job. Then you'll sit in your truck in a parking lot for 5 hours waiting on your next job.
They lie through their teeth to get you in the door. They make empty promises. They steal your last check. They constantly threaten to fire you if you don't up sell. They remind you that your customer is the MSO (WOW) and to do as they say, then tell you to do it different. They tell you to book extra jobs to bill for line replacements, when WOW tells you not to. It's all about money. Not yours, theirs. The company is run by two "god fearing men" and in their own words, "you can trust us to not screw you over"
That's a lie.

Coming up on 4 years ... One raise (that I had to beg for while going through a divorce 2 years in) was advised that they didn't realize I was at the bottom of the pay scale. Now almost 4 years in and they are hiring in people making the same amount as me. if I have been such an awful employee that does not deserve a raise I am not sure why they have kept me employed, otherwise I should have gotten something after 4 years 🙄
