Startups have inherent challenges. You have to be self-motivated if working outside of the Munich office and flexible with the time difference. Not everyone is cut out to work in a startup and wear multiple hats-but if you're up for the challenge, you will grow tremendously.

Great place to work

This is a great time to work at wywy. The product is hot right now, the company is growing and is poised to continue to explode rapidly. Great training available, great management, very open communication policy, great environment, casual dress code, everything is flexible (as long as you're doing well) and you will gain great experience.
When I read reviews like this, I assume that they are fake, and put there by the company to try and entice potential employees, but this is the real deal. I feel lucky to work here.

Things can change quite rapidly, but that's the nature of the beast. When you work at a smaller startup, you have to be ready to adapt and you'll always have the tools to do so. That's the biggest "con" I can think of.

Great international team, modern tech and dev practises, relaxed casual atmosphere, great location with decent food options. Frequent team events. Big open office space with kicker table, unlimited drinks and beer. Cake on your birthday, pretty nice. Yearly Oktoberfest outing, see Cons below.
If like working with talented people with a good sense of humour on tough problems you'll enjoy working at wywy.

You will learn a lot in a great environment

Work is flexible, and I mean really flexible: just do your tasks, no problem if you arrive late to the office as soon as you get work done. Besides that, free drinks and beer in the fridge.
You can have home office, also for longer periods of time (if you want to visit your family for instance).
You can choose your hardware, and they take care of each detail in the welcome; you will be up to speed since the beginning and your belly full of cookies.
Team is very smart, was startup of the year in 2012 and they are ready to overcome any challenge, working with a lot of different technologies, also state of the art technologies and ready to scale.

So many technologies can reduce the velocity when switching between projects.

Bad experience

I loved my job, well, most of the time. They hired me based on my previous experience but the problem was "bad management -bad management -again...bad management" . They are rude and don't have a constructive attitude. There was constant negativity.

So far I have not noticed cons.

Awesome, relaxed working environment with very exciting technological and development challenges. We have the freedom of choice in the technology and the way we want to implement things, with everyone sticking to the coding quality and testing requirements we have set up together.
The colleagues socialise a lot, have beers together (there's a fridge in the kitchen full of beers and other, non-alcoholic beverages), there's also fruits and great coffee to give the morale another boost.
The people are driven, communicative and creative, and I have a feeling of achievement every day the work is finished.
