Superb benefits, convenient location. very nice office and amenities.

Codebase is poorly documented. Teams are seriously siloed so you have no idea what else is going on or how your work impacts or interacts with the rest. Lots of CYA and turf building. Some interesting technology but given the general paranoia there's not a lot of opportunity to learn or stretch. The product framework is a patchwork built over a long time.

Terrible management sunk the company

While the older auto contracts and cruise contracts were still running, this company was vibrant and a great place to work. It valued QA and put a premium on customer experience.
|
Senior management sold out to Lear and that forced the closure of all non-auto contracts. Then senior management decided that a very profitable but very QA-intensive client wasn't worth it because if we could just get our new product launched we'd be printing all the money we ever wanted. Unfortunately, that product was a solution looking for a problem that no one had. Lear eventually got tired of supporting us and the company went from ~250 employees in the middle of 2021 to ~10 by the end of 2021.
