private:xojet https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=229772 Mar 3rd, 2021 12:00AM Open Open XOJET Flight Operations Analyst Sacramento, CA Not The Worst Place to Work There are a ton of great people that work for the company. Fun and friendly environment created by members in the OCC. I think the pay is pretty good. Amazing medical and 401k benefits. Extremely diverse! Disgustingly obvious lack of leadership ability and experience. Lack of accountability. Managers seem to only understand what their department does, can not see how their work affects the operation as a whole. Also, the nepotism and favoritism shown towards employees who came from the parent company is rather disconcerting. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 1.0 APPROVE 1.0 3.0 5.0 4.0 1.0 4.0 1.0 229772 Open Nobody in the office bites. Leave your office and go talk to people. There's so many magnificent people in the OCC and a TON of aviation experience but all goes to waste when the leadership sits in their office for 35 of the 40 hours a week their present. People need to put their pride aside and say "I don't know what I'm doing." "I need help with this." Too many issues arose because it seemed like people would rather fake as if they knew what they were doing, rather than admitting they didn't know and asking for help. Also, it helps minimize the backlash when you reach out to employees prior to making a process change. Just be more open and communicate. Also, 27 months at the company asked multiple people multiple times and still couldn't manage to get anything. I came out of the Air Force with actually trajectory and the time I spent at XOJET did nothing but cause me to plateau, absolutely no career progression and my supervisor couldn't tell me if I was good or bad at my job because he didn't even know things I learned my first day of training. The biggest thing is it felt like leadership didn't care. I was embarrassed to work at a company where the pilots call and "Why don't you guys know what you're doing there?". I guess I was embarrassed because I had pride in my job and the product I presented and the managers simply don't have any pride in their job so they could care less if the company is being ran into the ground. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 May 12th, 2021 08:08PM May 12th, 2021 08:08PM XOJET Consumer Services Travel & Leisure

private:xojet https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=229772 Dec 25th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open XOJET Maintenance Controller Fort Lauderdale, FL Top notch company - grateful to be a part of an awesome team First-class organization. It really feels like a team environment where everyone is working together to accomplish the task of taking care of the customer. I am appreciative of the culture where everyone, especially management, truly has an open door policy. The culture is like few I have ever seen where once you walk through the door you feel like family and are treated with dignity and respect by everyone. If you choose to make South Florida your home and have an opportunity to join this organization it is worth taking. I really can not think of any cons. Yes, every company has its pros and cons, but can't think of one. I guess if you are coming from a major airline you may consider the pay low, but with me coming from a regional airline the pay was about the same if not a little more to adjust for the cost of living in South Florida. So I had no issues with the pay at all. In fact, it felt like a raise for me. No real cons that I could truly note. The leadership team is top-notch and I encourage people to give XO a real look. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 229772 Open Keep doing what you are doing.
