Good learning ground but that's about it

Supporting the open source community, quite a flexible program, lots of work from home opportunities, some decisions are made within the involvement of the staff.
|
Management intentionally keeps company small, within their comfort zone, hires lots of interns and constantly recycles staff in order to pay them as little as possible. Any kind of salary negotiation would be played using the "I cant give you more money than your colleague" card, and no matter the technical skills or involvement, you will still get what whatever the management "feels" would be a sum they are comfortable giving you. Management also has some very difficult people which are often unreasonable, and make engineering work a living hell.

Not a lot of cons... it's still a young company so there might be some flexibility in the processes that are applied which could be a problem if you like well defined and rigid environments. Salaries and career can also be a weak spot, but you have plenty of opportunity of development (personal and professional) and the benefits compensate largely this aspect.

Great workplace

Flexible company with an open management, great team of smart people, good benefits, possibility to work from home.

Not for people who prefer working in a traditional corporation: startup like environment where management structure is quite flat, everyone is accountable for their own work and can have their opinions challenged. I personally consider these Pros, but they're not compatible with everyone's style.

The company is a Opens source Wiki product based company. It has a friendly developer community and a good user community. The developers are helpful. There is opportunity for free lancers as well.

I was just freelancing in contract basis. So I don't have a big idea. The cons I saw was the company is product based. It focus on the wiki product XWiki. Since it has many competitors the profits may be low.
